Gary Uftring has been a fixture to central Illinois car buyers for many years, including before he acquired his first dealership in Washington. Mr. Uftring began his automotive career on the wash rack at a small dealership in Minonk, Illinois. Armed with the determination to succeed and the desire to become a top salesman, he took advantage of opportunities as a “fill-in” sales consultant when the store was short-staffed. When he turned 18, the owner of the dealership agreed to let him sell cars full time. Because he was so young, Mr. Uftring focused on exceptional product knowledge and a passion for cars – two traits that serve him well to this day. Over the years, Mr. Uftring has developed and/or acquired multiple dealerships in central Illinois. However, his focus has always remained on great customer service and a commitment to giving back to the community.
I have 31 years of experience in the automotive industry, and have been with the Uftring Auto Group for 23 years now, the last six of those years with Jaguar Peoria Certified Pre-Owned and Service! I enjoy spending time with family and friends after work. More importantly, spoiling and spending time with my granddaughter. I enjoy bowling, especially with my wife, and stock car racing; dirt track and Nextel Cup are our greatest interests.
